(More customer reviews)When the unit works it is a good unit. Very useful for filling up racing bike tires to 120lbs+ or running nailers, filling air mattresses etc.

However I have had two of these units. One was returned for battery problems and on the other the unit that senses the charge adapter went out on me just outside the warranty period so now I am stuck with it.

Suggestions for improvement
I took my second unit and rigged it to work off a car battery or other external source (power supply, charger etc)

I also installed a cut-off\by-pass switch to allow the internal battery to be charged while the unit was operating on the external source.

Now my unit has 3 power options, internal battery, auto/deep cycle battery, 12 volt charger/power supply.
