(More customer reviews)I burned up the 5 horsepower motor on my compressor after about 15 years of use due to normal wear.I purchased this motor as a replacement.The motor bolted right into place and all electrical connections wear easily made up.The motor works great and I suspect is good for another 15 or 20 years.

This replacement compressor motor is commonly used on the small "home/shop" air compressors. The motor is designed to be used with a belt driven compressor. Not to be used where the motor is part of the compressor head. 56 Frame motor has a standard 3" x 5" bolt mounting pattern. Horsepower is designated as SPL.
